The folks on the development side of JJOS have been extremely helpful and quick to act (to say the least!) over my recent requests and bug reports.

I am excited to announce that track levels on the MPC can now be controlled with the KP3+ MIDI control mode (or most any MIDI control surfaces).

Here is a video I put together demonstrating how to accomplish this:

Also, a looping tip; For those of you who haven't figured this out:
Lets say you sampled something as a One-Shot and want to loop it. Play the one-shot and tap the tempo button to the beat of the one-shot. Now enter re-sampling mode & adjust for the appropriate length. Press the destination pad -just before- you press the original one-shot pad - almost at the same time. The KP3 will re-sample record into a loop from your original one-shot.

Thanks everyone for their insight and experiences! You all rock.

awesome tutorial.

just unfortunate the KP isn't multitouch. would be so much better if you could simultaneously fade multiple parts in/out.

I've always been heavy on muting alone.
I've never really thought of mapping track levels to an additional controller til now. thanks for the eye opener.
