Hi There,

When I go through the presets in Program mode, every preset with the MS-20 engine in it has lots of Portamento on it.

The other engines are ok.

Has anyone else had this problem?.

may be it's not a problem )may be it's just factory presets , I think you just need to get into presets editing deeply , after all that's the advantage of the Kronos , you can tweak a lot)

Every MS-20 preset sounds like it's set to 127. Yet when I check the Portamento level in the EXi tab it's 0.

Is this the way your Kronos is?.

Is anything connected to the MIDI input (including USB MIDI devices)? MIDI CCs 5 and 65 will affect portamento. Try this:
1. disconnect the MIDI input and any USB MIDI devices (nanoPAD etc.)
2. restart the KRONOS
3. play the MS-20EX Programs. Do they sound the same as before?

is each and every ms-20 preset have portamento knob at 0 ??
I'm not using ms-20 patches in my everyday practice , but I also noticed a controller bug (??) ...when my pan/cutoff knob is set on the max value after I played some synth combis etc ,later when I play on the next day (rebooted, on/off etc ) , and sometimes (not so often) then after some pause I get back to playing piano from a setlist , my pan is changed according to a knob setting , while i didn't touched the knob at all
