Connect editor via Ethernet? Massive lag over USB?

This may be a backwards thought, but would it be beneficial for future products/updates to have inboard Ethernet ports/allow the editor to connect over Ethernet?

Currently, using a new 2013 retina MacBook Pro, their is awful lag when editing/updating pages/info on the kronos. - I had an idea that this would be reduced if the connection was Ethernet? I know this would mean using a USB adapter on the kronos side! but their would be no bandwidth issues on the mac side using a USB3 adapter or even thunderbolt adapter?

Does anyone have advice on making the editor software more usable with OSX10.9? The lag is so bad, the software/kronos start freezing when using the editor to adjust a value on kronos?...

Mmm, sounds like there is something wrong there.

Have you the newest Korg usb driver installed?

Yes, something must be wrong as I use the editor connected to the USB port type B, and the transfer speed between the Kronos and the PC is faster than when transferring files via Ethernet and my newly installed WiFi system.

I'd have to say that the editor 2.1 is running smoother and seems more perky on Mavericks than 2.0 was on M Lion. I just wish it would open on a patch instead of Global mode.
Did you do the "All Transfer" and save the set? Or are you loading everything every time you open the program?

I am seeing this issue as well.

I'm not sure if it is anything to do with the communication with the Kronos though, I will start a new thread.... http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... 749#570749

Sorry, I was wrong. I was merely testing the changing of patches and from program to combi and global, which seems fine over here, but..
I must agree that editing parameters is a drag lag which I do not recall previously.
