Just wondering. Would a laptop maybe suit your needs better or we're you also planning on getting back into playing keyboards again? Just wondering from a mobility standpoint? I do understand about having too much gear to schlep around. a Kronos 73, 2 guitars plus all the amplification that goes along is a pain in the back.

Thanks Jazfan. The pedal is a Moog EP-2 Expression Pedal. Although I'm completely flying on the wind with the following statement - I think the expression pedals and sustain pedals are two different things, as it seems to me a sustain pedal would be the equivalent of the sustain pedal on a piano, which is typically the pedal on the right on pianos. I conceive of the expression pedal as something you would use with synth or string sounds, etc. Not so? After I get to using the keyboard a while, I may investigate your way of using a pedal to turn tracks on or off.latnjazfan wrote:

So then I ordered a real Korg sustain pedal from Alan at Sweetwater. Works perfectly, the way a true, variable sustain pedal performs on a acoustic piano. Happy ending: I now use that original pedal as a pedal switch to turn drum tracks on/off. Both are indispensable for how I use my Kronos.
