drum loop samples to multisample

I have 9, 16 beat, 115 bpm drum loops I want to be able to put together in different ways in SEQ mode. It would be good if I could play the intro loop, say, then another, and so on to make a drum part for a song.
This is what I have done so far.
1. Loaded the 9 loops to Sample mode.
2. Created a multisample. 1 sample per key, range 1 key. 9 samples to 9 keys starting at E1. After I assigned a loop to a key, I pressed CREATE in each case.
3. Saved 1 MS, creating .kmp file with associated .ksf files.
4. Time-sliced the MS so I can vary the tempo. Saved it to PROG E13.
5. Tried in SEQ mode. Pressed START and sure enough the first loop played and I can alter tempo.
But in SEQ mode I can't get the other loops to play by simply pressing the other keys. If I press F1, I get nothing.
Is it clear what I want to do? How do I do it? Get 1 loop per key of PROG E13 and arrange them in any pattern I want in SEQ mode.
Thanks. David
