Hi all, new to the forum and soon to become first time korg owner.
I have ordered a kronos, which is the original with the x upgrade done at factory- anybody aware of any issues, problems etc using this route, as opposed to buying a kronos x? The deal and price difference was significant, which worries me a tad

On the back of the machine, the "X" behind the Kronos logo is missing....

I would not worry about any other problem until it appears -- at which point you can rely on the Korg customer support to fix it. The dealer probably wanted to get rid of this shelf warmer to get room for newer machines. And in the end, even the list price of an original Kronos plus upgrades was indeed considerably cheaper than a new Kronos X with the same specs.
