Hi, I'm trying to setup my KP3+ to use it as a midi controller on Windows 7 x64 but can't get it to communicate with the midi editor.
I've installed the most recent midi driver tools from korg.com (USA_DrvTools_e(1.14_r9). Then I run the Korg MIDI Driver Setup Utility with admin rights, confirm my device is connected, and click Install. It tells me "The Device Driver has been installed properly."
Then I run the KP3+ Editor, and try to recieve data from the device, now it tells me "The Korg USB-Midi Driver is not installed...", when I check preferences it says "KP3+ (Not connected)".
Ok then, so I run the Korg Midi Driver Uninstall Utility and have to select a midi entry to delete, here it says "midi44: Korg KP3+ <Connected>"
I tried the older 1.14_r6 drivers as well with the same result.
What am I doing wrong?
Edit : The device is in Ext.Ctrl mode btw.
Midi Editor says my KP3+ isn't connected :/

Just run EzSetup64.exe again from C:\Program Files\KORG\KORG USB-MIDI Driver\EzSetup64.exe
Do this every time if next restart it doesn't recognized again.
It has to do how Windows devide the max 10 midi assignments etc.

bradkorg, thank you very much for the reply! Running EzSetup64.exe again didn't help but editing registry and deleting all midi as suggested here : http://social.technet.microsoft.com/For ... -pro-64bit did wonders after a reboot.
