Too bad it depends on an Apple-product. I wish this would be a "stand-alone" device.

Isn't there already that leap motion thing that Sharp has? Isn't stand alone either but works with Windows and/or Android I think.

Yup, there's even a laptop from HP that has it built-in.
That's still different from this device, where you have actual buttons/touchpads as well (eventhough they are provided by the Apple device).
