Hello
I am trying to use my kaoss pad 3 and ableton 8 and have become stuck

I have got it setup using a komplete 6 audio interface and can hear fx from the pad all ok affecting the played sample.

The problem is when I try to record the fx it does not record at all.

This is how I want it to work:

audio sample played via ableton > kaoss pad fx > back into ableton so I can record the track.

I am now tearing my hair out

any ideas?

can you just run the signal from ableton to the kp3 by an rca-1/8" cable, monitor thru kp3 headphones, run the Kp3 back to ableton via another rca-1/8" cable and hit record in ableton?

it can prob be done in some way, just maybe not exactly how you want it
