Kaossilator Pro (not +) finding the 1 beat??

Is there a way to display the beat counter (fancy word I know) when you are not recording?
For example, in the link below, I have a Tabla loop that is recorded as 8 beats, even though it is really only 4. So, the 2 phrases are identical. I feel like I am pretty good at keeping track of the 1 beat, but when fiddling around there are times that I may not be certain. I don't have an issue when recording as the counter comes up one REC is armed and track is selected. However, if I want to play along on something else, knowing where the 1 falls would be nice. Also, if I were to drop all of the other banks and just have the Tabla playing, then I want to bring one back in on a specific beat, is there a way to identify which beat the Kaossilator is on? In my video, the arp pretty much identifies the 1, and later so do the other loops that are added, but the tabla itself is identical on 1 and 5.

does this make sense, and if so can it be done? is this an editor function? I've only had this for 4 days so I haven't dug that deep yet.
