They might, depending on the quality of the performance. ;)

I use my Kronos at home and find the KRK Rokit 5 speakers on their stands very capable of creating decent sound. All low resonance sounds handled without fear of blowing speaker cones! I use Bose over ear headphones for private practice to keep outside sounds out (cost about £200).
Korg Kronos 61 (1st female UK owner??); Casio WK1200; Fender Newporter Acoustic Guitar.
Previously loved Yamaha SY77, Roland SH101, and other various musical instruments!

...maybe that's why my wife likes it when I use closed back headphones.

Well I've found a solution to my problem thankfully so I thought I post it on this thread in case anyone comes looking in the future. I'm recording and monitoring through Focusrite Liquid Saffire so that means the Focusrite software is in control when I'm playing rather than the DAW. In the Focusite Mix Control software I have a left and right SPDIF for the Kronos. I needed to pan this full left and full right. All of sudden Kronos through audio interface sounds pretty much exactly the same as headphones straight into the Kronos. That was driving me mad, the pianos were sounding awful. :)
I was a guitar player until I got a Monotron...

I think this is the order, Korg Monotron, Monotribe, MicroSampler, MicroKorg XL+, MS20 Mini, SQ1, Kronos 2 61...
