2.0 Update Difficuclty

I'm having a problem guys. No computer in my house is capable of udating my KP3 to 2.0 for better sampling.
One in the living room has gone to s**t, and uses vista.
The one I'm using now runs Win8-x64.
There's no winning for me...
Do I just have to borrow someone's Mac, or is there an easier way around this that I'm not seeing?
