I like the concept. I wonder how well it is implemented. Certainly looking forward to some hands on reviews.

Waiting to hear from Altomusic who will ship for $189 usd.
Early adoption seems less risky after all the development time they have had with this.

Got mine today. Haven't dug too deep but did setup a RTP-MIDI config over Wi-Fi.
iConnectMIDI4+ to Wireless AC Ethernet Bridge
Alesis Q49 to DIN (iConnectMIDI4+)
MS2000BR to DIN (iConnectMIDI4+)
KORG EMX1SD to DIN (iConnectMIDI4+)
Laptop Wireless AC to Router
RTP-MIDI shows 2ms latency in the session listing.
Tried MiniHost with Superwave Targus, P8 and also Reaper with various VST instruments as well as MIDI recording and playback from and to different source and destination combinations. Then my brain got bent and had to back away for awhile. Found it very responsive with no glitches or perceptible lag while playing. I'm no Liberace however.
Haven't done any audio pass thru tests since I don't yet have an iThing yet. Been eyeing Gadget.
Good product. Potential game changer especially considering it will interconnect with other iConnect modules like the audio product due out sometime this year. Just confused myself again. Brain hurts. Must stop typing.

Gadget gets a GOLD medal award on Sonicstate's web site (video review).
Where did you order the iConnectmidi4?
2ms latency seems pretty good.

My order is finally on its way. Delivered this Thursday, 8th May.
This device will solve quite a few issues for me with linking various midi and audio devices on a permanent basis. The software helps arrange the various routings.
It looks so flexible in that regard.

So with this box it would be possible to play both Kronos and Omnisphere sounds from a USB connected Casio Digital Piano like a Casio with MIDI ports can? Thanks!

Yes, the USB host port on the back can be used for either one controller or a powered USB hub hosting many controllers. With the default out of the box configuration, messages from each jack stream to all other jacks. You can also choose if devices connected the USB host jack can/can't communicate amongst themselves. You should be able to just plug in and go out of the box. If not, use the iConfig app to setup the routes how you need.

BTW another good use for the audio pass-thru feature: Oscilloscope app
All my hardware synths and synth modules audio go into a Zoom R24 that interfaces into my laptop. My iPad is connected to USB device jack 1 of the iCM4+ which also interfaces into my laptop (USB device jack 3) with both MIDI and audio. In this case the iPad is not being used as a sequencer, recorder, sound module or controller but a monitor. The laptop normally taking DAW duties is just an aggregation point for MIDI and audio from both devices.
I can take the MS2000BR audio through the R24, all the way to the laptop, route it back out through the iCM4+ and into the iPad. With the oscilloscope app running I can play with the oscillators all day long with visual feedback while adjusting.
There's a vid on YouTube with a guy using the same synth and same app on an iPhone interfaced through an iRig. I'm however able to route anything connected to either audio interface to any of the three USB device jacks on the iCM4+ for consumption.
