Help I forgot

Post by Jim olson »

In the middle of a project and can't remember how to record volume changes while sequencing. I've done it before and loved watching the sliders and pan controls changing. Kind of like automated mixing for a cd project. Thought I could just change the sliders or volume values and record to an unused midi channel. I looked everywhere in the operations guide and my changes aren't recording. Please help. Thanks to All, jim

You can do it with an unused channel assigned to the same midi channel of the track which need to be volume controlled, check also if volume changes are enabled in the midi section =)

Thank you Niarf,
Really appreciate the response. You are the only responder. I am still a newbie. I will try it now. I can set my recording preferences to overdub and record fader info, however it behaves strange if I try to do it more than once.
Thanks again!

What is the purpose of putting it on an unused track (assigned to same midi channel) wouldn't that end up wasting alot of tracks... especially after you reuse that concept over multiple tracks.
