Playing pads from keyboard in combi

I want to play the pads from the local keyboard for one timbre in a combi. I assigned the pads to notes below the keyboard in Global settings and it's working with SW1 and SW2 both set to octave down. The problem is I hear the chords on all timbres and I want to hear just one timbre. I can assign both the pad and the midi channel of the timbre to channel 2 (or another channel) but then I can only play the pads from the screen, not the keyboard.

Is there any way to do this? This is pretty frustrating.



I'm programming Baba O'Riley using Busch's awesome patch (the alternate version) in the right hand and I want to trigger the piano chords in the LH with just one key per chord. (I hear 5-note chords)

Edit: Of course I could sample a chord and then assign it to a note, but I haven't gotten into the sampler yet...

I had the same issue, even if I choose channels in pads page... I completly remade a the combi and it worked... =)
