What does it mean when these libraries say" programmed to U-G bank or U-AA etc. what if i have something there and I dont want to overwrite?

That just means if you load at the level of the pcg file, that is where it will end up. If you open the PCG file you will see that is the bank that is specified. If you don't want it there, load it at the bank level and you can specify a different location.
