Yeap. Oh well. I just got mine and the next will not be on my have to buy list. Maybe the 2020 model and beyond. lol.GregC wrote:maybe the next " Kronos " will have this. it would make total sense. I don't know much about 'programming costs ' but hopefully it can be worked incrazylounyc wrote:I think korg should put some coding in their system to allow you to stream your views to and external usb monitoring device. I know it sounds crazy, but im sure its possible. All you have to do is tick an option in the general setup and it will active an internal driver. It doesn't even have to be midi enabled or anything. you will still have to use the built in LCD for navigating and functions.

I know this is an older post buy I just purchased the Kronos and I love it but the small font on the screen is driving me crazy. I have not done this yet but will try the magnifier and found one on Amazon that sits on an adjustable stand

Another option would be to mount your smartphone (I have a Samsung) over the Kronos screen and then connect the phone to a standard computer monitor using a USB C to HDMI adpater (they have them on Amazon and I'm sure Iphones have something similar). You would then project your phone to the monitor and then activate you're phone's camera which will show the Kronos screen on the monitor. Obviously you need enough space below the camera to still touch the Kronos screen but would view the monitor while you do this. I use my Phone in this way on my home computer monitor and it works fine. A bit of an awkward scenario but it could work. If I don't have any luck with a magnifying lense I will try this method and update. Hope that helps.

s.
I have messed around with cheap magnification but this stuff gets in the way
of basic navigation. I can't handle clutter around the touch screen, dials, buttons. Mounting something also might be a challenge.
Still interested in your research/experimentation. Let us know if find an alternative. The remote app doesn't help me either.

I wonder if there is a way to construct a type of periscope using a mirror placed at the back of the of the screen and magnify the image, that way it would keep the screen clear at least. I'm not sure what exactly it is I'm trying to describe, but some kind of mirrored magnifier which changes the direction of the final image so it's out of the way. I know there'd be a bit of brain training, touching the screen and looking at another image.
I'm afraid MY solution has been getting used to multi focal glasses
