AMS: Ribbon?

Hey guys,

I was playing around with the AMS of an IFX, and I saw this option "Ribbon #16". Logically, that should mean if I select that as an AMS, the IFX should get triggered when I slide on the ribbon.

Except the Krome doesn't seem to have one?

Is this the same ribbon I'm talking about? E.g. there's one on the Kronos right below the pitch joystick.

I don't get it, why put this AMS when its not there on the workstation?

Here's hoping I make sense,
Thanks,
Ricky :)

It's just part of the EDS sound engine which is shared by several Korg workstations. Also, if you had an external controller with a ribbon or any control that could transmit cc16 that would trigger it.

Ah right, thanks for the info :)
It had me searching every nook and cranny of the machine for anything that resembled a ribbon (Not proud to admit it).

I wonder why Korg does add ribbons on the mid-level workstations. Being the best(arguably) workstation on the market, presently, right after the Kronos, I'd expect the Krome to have a ribbon.
