what im trying to achieve is, im playing my kronos but im linking a keytar to it live so the lead singer can trigger sound effect on the keytar, but he doesnt know how to play keys so i thought if i assigned it to every key then he cant go wrong..

- Follow path PROG/OSC Pitch/OSC1(&2 if exists) / "Pitch" table and set "Pitch slope" to "0.0"
- Done

you could also assign the sample to a specific key, let's say the bottom or top key, and be clear to the signer to press that key (maybe putting a label on the key)...he doesn't need to know how to play, just press the key with the label....and you save a lot of time in preparing it :)

Trick used by Depeche Mode

Alternatively you could put a sticker on the correct key on the Keytar saying "Press this one" - Depeche Mode used to put labels on boards with the name of the sample that would be triggered.

The next , seriously talking , step is to prevent distortion if your mate would accidentally press more than one keys.
That step is to set OSC(s) in mono mode , since every extra played key will raise overall volume +3 db !

Buy the singer a cowbell and a stick!

For custom samples you can simply set them to a fixed pitch, in sampling mode.
