I wanted to set up my small laptop wit the EDITOR/LIBRARIAN for when I go on tour (in case of emergency)

Got it working fine on the bug Win7 64bit PC but on my smaller acer laptop having issues

I d/l and installed the latest driver (1.14.r6) and Editor (2.10) and all looked ok when I ran these and set them up but as soon as I plug the Kronos 61 into a usb port, Windows starts to try and find Device drivers for it...it then just hangs on the second of the 2 it finds and tried to install

uninstalled and tried 3 or 4 times now so whats up?
Any clues?

Perhaps your smaller laptop is 32 bit and you need a 32 bit installer/driver?

Check this thread out. Maybe its a driver issue. This fixed it for me when I first plugged in my Kronos. I had too many other USB Midi devices plugged in the windows seems to get a little confused.

Only got one other MIDI device in the laptop so not the old XP 10 MIDI Device limit issue

And it is running in 64bit mode

No I think I solved it..it is the USB port itself..I think it must be USB 1.0 port because when I tried using a USB 2.0 hub as interface, it all ;started to respond

There you go..got there in the end :)
