Does anyone know how to remove modulation automation from a recorded track ive tried deleting control events and data but it still remains

The Erase Control Data command should remove pitch bend modulation if you set "Kind" to "Pitch Bend." Are you using this?

If that's not working on the track, then ensure that no other track in the song that is set to same MIDI channel has this kind of data recorded on it.

The next thing to check is for other controller/CC modulation in your track, such as aftertouch, which might be bending the pitch depending on the program. In MIDI Event Edit, you can filter the data events to show only the CC data and have a look at what sort of CC data is in the track. Who knows -- maybe it's a knob or something else that's bending the pitch...?

You can also disable the pitch bending entirely on the P2 Track Parameters > Pitch screen. Set the Bend Range to 00 for the track.
