So, I used to have a K Pro and loooovvvved it for the drums, but I no longer have it. I was thinking about getting another one just to use it to control drums on Ableton. Do you know how it transmits drum MIDI data? On the K Pro for example, there's a drum patterns where the X axis all the way to the left is just the bass drum, then as you slide to the right it adds the snare, hi hats etc until you get all the way to the right and it's a full beat. The Y axis was a filter.

Would the left/right action translate to MIDI notes or CC messages so I can make my own drum set on Ableton, so if my finger was to the left it would only play the bass drum on Ableton, then I slide to the right and it sends the MIDI notes for the rest of the drums in the same way that it plays them on the K Pro, but with my own drums instead?

Basically, I want to use the patterns exactly the way they are on the X/Y pad, but with my own drums on Ableton instead. Is this possible and easy to set up?
