Hi, I recently purchased a Korg Kronos X and absolutely love this machine, however I am struggling to understand the sampling mode. I have no problem being able to sample an external sound, edit it and convert to program, however when I power down and power up again, the sample data is gone. I tried following the parameter guide and saved the sample, and then tried to load the sample but the combination I had created with the sample in still showed it as not being loaded. I find the Korg Kronos to be very easy to use, but with the sampling mode I am pulling out my hair will try after try failing. Does anyone have any suggestions.
i have sent an email to Korg but as yet have had no responce

After you have done all your edits to your samples, and before you power down, go to disk mode and choose "save sampling data". Give it a name, I'll use "MySample" for this example. Now, go to global mode and find the page "KSC Autoload". On this screen, choose "add KSC". Navigate to your saved file. You can pick from two different versions:
1. MySample.KSC, this is exactly what you saved and it loads all samples into RAM.
2. MySample_Userbank.KSC, this includes the same samples but it only loads the start of each sample in RAM and streams the rest from the SSD. This means less RAM is used but you won't be able to go back into sampling mode and edit them.
Either option will be recognized by your programs automatically after rebooting. You can "fake" a reboot by clicking "do AutoLoad now".

Thankyou very much, it worked. I can now start growing my hair again.
