Can anyone recommend a good "Affordable" vocal microphone to use with the Sound on Sound? And Also, would it be worth investing in a good vocal effects processor as well. I really enjoy overdubbing harmonies!!! Thanks!

TC-Helicon seems to have a cool affordable voice processor. I have never tried it but after looking at all of the videos on youtube it seems like a good investment.

It is not very affordable mic but i use Neumann KM184 for vocal
( do not miss place with KM184A because it is twise expansive.

)
The mic is very good and flat frequncy responce but it is very picky so if u have a bad vocal u might want large diafragm microphone and if u have very bad vocal the u need dynam mic lol

MXL V67G. Actually, a lot of the Marshall MXL mics with fit your needs for not a lot of money, but the V67G is specifically a vocal mic.
Superb reviews, flat response, large diaphragm, they can be found on eBay for well under a hundred US, and will server your needs admirably. I have the 990, and it's been a fantastic addition to the studio.
