I'd assume great latency means smaller?

I have Caustic , the ipad version of course but it is a pretty useful app for android as well from what I have heard. I do not use it much given all of the other choices I have, however it is a very capable tool for music production. If you are stuck on android for what ever reason it is well worth a look.

At least if you bought the Korg Module for one Ipad and decided to upgrade to a newer Ipad you wouldn't have to buy Korg module again like you would if you bought for example a Kapro library for one Kronos and decided to get a different size Kronos which would involve buying that library again.

A year ago in September I bought a 4th gen ipad with 128 gig memory. Cost me way too much at just under $1,000. Part of the cost was a seriously good case for it. Still, I think they are very overpriced. The thing was, at the time some of the apps I wanted were only available on the iPad.

One of the biggest complaints I hear about Apple products is that they keep on changing their connections and they demNd that you store data in the cloud. You can't even really use a memory stick in an ipad.

If the keyboard world could standardize connections like midi more than 30 years ago, you'd think the computer world could get its collective s^#% together Nd do the same.

Prices are down some what from that. I just got an ipad AIR 32 gb for just 400 bucks new. MMM it definitely is sweet and fast. Nice to have so much room for apps with plenty left over for projects and room for app expansion even. :) The picture quality is simply stunning also.

IK Multimedia announced a solution to achieve near zero latency on Android devices, more info will follow during NAMM.
Perhaps this will provide an incentive for developers such as KORG to make their music apps suitable for Android?
