How to control M3M with external controller keyboard

I have an M3 module and a CME UF5 controller keyboard. Despite time with the paramater guide and menus, here is what I can control (and cant).

What works:
-keys
-keys on multiple MIDI channels
-damper pedal
-pitch bend wheels
-master volume
-ind. MIDI channel volume

What doesn work, but worked with other modules/sampletank
-Program change
-cutoff, resonance, reverb, sustain, attack, user 1-4

I have of course enabled prog change etc. in the M3 MIDI menu....any ideas?

program change can be controlled at the combi level in the midi filter page and also globally on the midi page. Have you enabled in both places?
