most of my few "gripes" have already been covered. It's more of a wishlist of making an already almost perfect synth a bit more perfect. It's become an indispensable part of my live rig. In order of importance.

1. MIDI echo thru USB

2. Font sizes and other Setlist enhancements like colors (coming in OS3 yay!)

3. Switchable MIDI thru port to 2nd MIDI out (only if I can't have #1)

4. chassis integrated ethernet port. I know I could make one of these though from the internal nic, I'm just lazy.

5. More program banks. I can deal with the sample ram limitation just fine (most of the custom programs I use are EXi). But one thing I loved in my Alesis Fusion was that the amount of banks was basically unlimited (at least only limited to the HDD capacity).

6. more controller pedal inputs. My PC3 has 5 of them.

7. The ability to map CX3 drawbars (and other controls) via MIDI CC. Effective when using external controllers to control drawbars (or you use something like a Ocean Beach drawbar controller for the lower manual)

That's it - mostly small stuff. I'm more than happy with what I already have, though.

Jeebustrain, you need my little midi translator box. I use my Axiom 61 and B4D for the CX-3 drawbars. However, you'll have to make it yourself. I can send you the code and schematic if you like. I would put it out on the forum but there's no way of posting things like that. Same with my BCR2000 stuff.

The main ones for me.

1. Fan

2. Velocity response.

3. Inability to edit programs in combi while being used multi timbraly.

4. Not easy to fit in a rucksack.

Edit: The upcoming version allows the editing of programs in combos as they play so my point 3 has gone now :)

I noticed a "Fan Control Settings" menu in the Global Mode. :)

The Option it really needs is:

1. Replace fan with properly rubber mounted silent model.

I'm kinda assuming the grille/vent means a fanless design.

I am not sure. That processor runs quite warm, I think. Plus there are places where 90+ farenhiet degrees is common.

The processor is already fanless in the current Kronos. There is only a case fan that, granted, does blow vaguely near the CPU heatsink, but it seems the main reason to create a grille, to me.

I didn't design it though, so time will tell I guess :)
