Hi,
I need to save certain patches to my USB because I regret editing the presets and want to save two patches I spent lots of time working on. If I am able to save the patches to the USB, how can I do it?
Thanks.
Can I save certain patches to my USB?

First, it is always a good idea to make a backup of your complete/entire PCG (so all programs, combis, etc).
When you want to restore programs, you have multiple possibilities:
- Open the factory default PCG file and load programs or banks from it (overwriting your current memory).
- Use PCG Tools to copy whatever you want from one file to another.
In all cases, make backups before so you always can revert in case something goes wrong.

i doubt it. The OS forces you to " write " your custom combi to a user bankkronosuser3407 wrote:I'm trying to save individual COMBI'S to my USB. Is there a way for me to do that instead of saving the entire pcg? I want to save the combi's to my USB then restore the factory patches back.
If you want to retain that custom combi to a USB device, you have to save it as a PCG file.
why not do that, then reload/restore your factory combis, programs ?
then Load your PCG file from your USB device. save individual combis , programs in the user bank as needed.
did you carefully review the ' saving and loading data ' in the quick start manual ?
You can save all "patches" in the keyboard in one shot by saving the PCG file. You can do so by by going into the "Disk" mode and into the "Save" tab. Then from drop down menu choose the "Save PCG" option. At that point you have to give a unique name that you would recognize later. You also have to be careful where it is going to be saved. You can navigate to the USB drive from the lower left side of LCD screen. There's a little black trianangle mark there that you can click on and it will show you the SSD drives and the USB drive. So you choose the USB drive from there.
When you want to use the saved patch, you can load the whole PCG file. Or you can open the PCG file before you hit the load button and go either in the Programs folder, or the Combinations folder and choose whatever patch you want to load. Hope this helps.
