2xbugs leads to 3x feature requests

another night led to another few bugs found.
1. despite turning record on Ifx edit for part 7 , it was not being recorded into the sequence, then after muting and unmuting is suddenly worked
2. I had "reverse stepper" Mfx selected, used it once or twice then shoce to delete it with the part shift shortcut "clear motion sequence" upon doing this my sequence was instantly reversed and remained in its reverse play state until I recorded a new Mfx...which ALSO kept reverse...upon releasing the Mfx it flipped back to normal.
which leads to two feature requests....
1. can we have the part lights blink in time during mute and erase mode like they do in trigger mode....sometimes in a dense mix it is hard to identify which sound you are wanting to mute/ erase and the flashing lights would really help this.
2. talking of which how about shift+ erase+ part totally erasing that part without having to wait for the full sequence to roll around... normally I would rather start a whole new take than try to time a small erase....actually at the moment in its current usage I find it quicker to erase by unselecting steps within the sequencer.
3. within the MIDI fx section (Odd/even/double/reverse stepper) ... surely it would make a LOT more sense to have the electribe "keep count" of where the "normal" sequencers progress would be whilst the user is sound mangling , therefore dropping them back into the original rhythm when they are done using the effect... at the moment a few uses leads to everything getting completely out of time with any other sync'd instruments or indeed other parts in the same pattern that don't have this effect enabled.... please see the TB-3 by roland for a good "flux" implementation of this... the "stepper" effects COULD be one of the coolest elements in the new tribe but the pad is too sensitive to come on and off the effect exactly on the right step that you mean to.
also 4. it would be great to solve the lack of quantization on your initial finger press on the pad (it should wait for the next step if you press slightly too early rather than the weird play immediately so the first note is off, then catch up it does now)
right, back to playing
