Kronos sequencer - vector envelope

Hi,
I am a complete newbie and I would appreciate some help with the following:
I am recording a song in sequencer mode mainly with step recording. I tried to set up a Vector Envelope for MIDI track 3, configured all five points of loop with positions, hold times etc, but it does not seem to work. Note that Vector Joystick does affect the sound. What could I be missing? Thank you.

I'm not sure to understand: you would like to record the vector envelope motion in the MIDI sequencer?

MIDI sequencer can record the movement you make with vector joystick while you move it in realtime recording. But vector envelope is designed to move by itself: so, you don't need to "record" it, just trigger the sound and the vector envelope should run by itself.

As you say, I try to have the vector envelope move by itself. But when I play back the song I do not hear the track sound changing as if it does not follow the loop. This happens for real time recording and step recording.

mmmhh...It looks like another strange thing I have discovered recently: vector envelope sometimes stops running when drum track is on...

Have a look to the topic I have opened here, even if no answer was given by Korg at the moment to something that looks like a bug:

Does it mean that Vector envelope use a MIDI feature that seems to be frozen when another MIDI event happens at the same time (i.e.: sequencer, or Drumtrack???)

In the song, I use three tracks with drum events. I will delete them and let you know if envelope operates without them. Might be related to the bug you refer to. Thank you.
