How cool is that! I finally got some time today to go through this technique and experimented with a single 16 notes bass sequence by first laying down just the same notes, quickly editing the notes with the touchpad into some meaningful progression, then added rind mod insert effects on few steps, changed release to achieve more percussive sound on and combined with mod delay to achieve some kind of fill from the gated steps repeating themselves. Almost got an entire small track out of one part:)
Thank you Steinberger, for me this trick is more significant than the swappable OS hack.
