I used to have the Triton and I would use Midi to create my tracks in Pro Tools. It was very simple. I would assign a Midi 1 to a certain voice in programs and assign it to Pro Tools track. It would record and play the midi data. It was so simple.
I now have the NEW Kronos and for the life of me can't get the darn thing to produce a sound from Midi Data. I have set up my Pro Tools using my MidiSport 4x4. I tell Pro Tools to listen on Midi Track One. I also set my Pro Tools to output on Midi Track one. I create a new Midi track in Pro Tools and hit record. All the Midi Data is recorded but I don't hear any sounds. I hear nothing while playing and nothing while just playing back the data. My triton was so simple. I have tried almost every combination I can think of in my global settings. What am I doing wrong.

On the output, I would use the Kronos Sounds options. Are you using the USB from the Kronos into the computer? That will always work.
