Another Electribe Sampler 2 hidden Feature?

Import a Pattern over Sync in on ES2?

If you own an ES2 try this out; go into data, import pattern... And you get two options: card or sync in....has anyone tried the sync in option?

Others who found this have tried using volcas like the Volca beats to see if the ES2 captures the pattern. It didn't. I have tried a similar action with my E2. Still no go.

Any ideas anyone?

It may be like the new Roland Aira modules where the data for the configuration of the patch can be stored as a sound file (sounds like noise. see Commodore 64). What this allows you to do is play a sound file stored in any playback device like an iPhone and flash a new config to the instrument. Cool new-old-school. Hope that's what it is.

I had posted about this a good while back and got zero responses (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=98084)

I've also emailed Korg Support about this hoping they can shed some light. Its a pity theres really no information in the manual (along with pretty much everything else).

Anyway I hope now we can discuss and test this feature out...

There is a barly mentioned feature on our Electribe Sampler 2 and NOBODY wants to talk about what is, what it does and how to make it work?

Seems Korg has spent as much time on the manuals as on testing firmwares
