Let's get some data on this. Get your electribe through a tuner and check it against the parameter guide scale list. Most problems seem to be with Diminished and Gypsy scales.
Are your scales messed up?
Which ones?
What firmware were you on before the 1.10 upgrade.
For me the answer is
No

After spending almost 2 hours confirming the fault two nites ago - and then being told what I was experiencing was "Impossible!" I cant believe I am back again.
If that guy had bene in the same building as me he would have been thrown thru the window and tumbling to his doom.
Forget tuners - I went thru that s**t before - just do this -
Key - C
Scale - Gypsy
Scale Mode -**OFF**
Pad 1 - Saw -
Play pads from 1 to 5
Everything perfect.
NOW -
Change nothing other than the
Scale Mode **ON**
Play the pads again
1 - fine - 2 - fine - 3 - fine - 4 - oops! its not playing F# but going to the G, the Pad 5 is lighting up...
So press Pad 5 and you get the G again and Pad 5 lights up.
I don't even use scale mode - it must have been a default of the Init pattern I use.
Should that be normal behaviour for the Scale Mode? I wouldn't think so... otherwise whats the point of having it?
I never want to hear about goddamn gypsies for the rest of my life.
All credit for this should go to a guy called Lee on FB. He nutted it out.

Ah Mr Punch. Given that we were not in the same room and I'm not tumbling to my death I can follow the above instructions to the letter. And, yes, you are right. I was not doing this with scale mode turned on. Now I have done I am getting the same problems as you. Even with recorded sequences. So the problem is with the scale mode. I have not had this before because it's the first time I've ever turned it on.
Maybe before throwing me out of windows or instructing me to go f*ck myself we can ensure we are testing under the same conditions.

I was up for it, then I realised we might have to do that 'making a heart with your fingers' thing like he did and I had to chop both my hands off just in case. I'll be back when I've learned to play with my feet.dutchcow wrote:We could collab on some crazy Dutch hardstyle to blow of steam.
I'm sure the E2 can pull this off as it has distortion under the edit knob on pretty much every single kick.

Has es2 also had the update?1_inch_punch wrote:It gets better.
Also on the Es2.
Maybe Korg have a reason for this. I'm trying to think what it is.
