E2/ES2: Info from Korg about future firmware updates?

Last time I tried to contact Korg directly they buck-passed me to the shop I got my E2 from. And that is what they're doing again. So maybe you guys can help getting things clear by asking Korg what they are planning for new firmwares. And if new firmwares will be released at all.
Their only press spokesperson seems to be James Pullen, en he went from swappable firmwares to "a final" firmware (1.10). So if I were to believe him we will not get any updates anymore.
Please ask Korg why it doesn't communicate with its customers more openly, they could have someone post here and tell us what Korg has in the pipeline, but they choose not to. They choose to say nothing at all.
I want to know if more updates/fixes will be coming our way, or has 1.10 been the last firmware update and Korg sees the E2 as end of life.
I'm not in a rush but it would be great to know what they're planning within a month or so. Because I can still return mine again for my money back. I don't wanna make the mistake make smartphone buyers make, buying a phone from a vender that gives you 2 firmware updates and then nothing. Forcing you to buy a new phone to get the latest Android on it. If Korg isn't planning on more and big firmware changes I will return it.
Maybe some of you already got replies from Korg with some insights, please share those. I am bewildered that some get a real reply from Korg. All I ever got was a "please contact the store you purchased your E2 for support". As if the store can help with firmware shortcoming, bugs and issues. Really annoying when people are buck-passing.
tl;dr
Please contact Korg and ask them about their firmware plans for the E2/ES2.
