This is a completely inconsequential question, and it's only out of curiosity, but when I was playing with OS 3.0.3 on my original Kronos last night, I noticed that the usability of the touch screen seemed greatly improved.
I recall one of the greatest frustrations for me when the Kronos shipped is that you had to touch screen UI elements precisely to activate them. For example, to place a check in a checkbox, it was necessary to touch the square of the checkbox almost exactly, requiring great precision. I remember there being discussion about people using styluses and other implements to operate their Kronos effectively.
But last night, I noticed that you can now touch near the control and it will activate it. For example, for a pop-up list, even touching the label of the control (which are often quite long in length) is enough to bring up the list, which is a great usability improvement!
I'm not suggesting this is new to 3.0.3, but I realised last night that the usability of the Kronos has increased dramatically over time. Has anyone else noticed this, and does anyone know which version introduced these improvements? The Kronos just feels so much more natural to operate now!
Either way Korg, thank you so much - I believe all the major gripes I originally had with the Kronos (touch screen sensitivity, fan noise, lack of user sample streaming, unreadable fonts) have now been resolved or greatly improved!

Thanks Niarf, I think that improvement was specifically listed in the list of changes for 3.0.3. Have you noticed an increase in the sensitivity of the GUI elements as well, in relation to how precise you need to be when touching them?Niarf wrote:Yeah, I did test the sliders lag difference before install the 303 update, and now it has been slighty speed up =)
