Hi,

1: Is it possible to change/load the pad through a midi commands?

for example recall 3rd slot from pad bank2 over midi.
I can change the pad instruments over midi without any issues, now need to figure out changing s pad slots content. (I can do that through touch screen).

2: How do you layer/Split instruments in sequencer mode. or use sts in sequencer mode and record it?

What does the pad do/play?

I haven't used a pad yet.

Seems like if it's a wav file or midi clip it could be put into the sequencer easier.

Or trigger a sampler inside the sequencer maybe.

A PAD is single channel midi file. You can export a PAD as a midi file.

As far I've been able to find out to date - NO

You CAN change the PAD(s) definition(s) by loading a STYLE or PERFORMANCE as that information is stored in a STYLE or PERFORMANCE

You can only play the currently selected channel in SEQUENCER mode
