I gotta admit, i get a little nervous everytime i do a synth os update.

The only time I've ever had an issue loading an OS on the Kronos is when I downgraded 3.0.2 to 1.0.6 (yes, seriously). It didn't like that very much, but was easily fixed with the recovery DVDs.
