so i just picked up the padkontrol and i'm having trouble getting it to work. i'm trying to get it to trigger my sampler, a sp-404. i set the pads to channel 1 and the sampler to channel 1, then tried sending every possible note from c- to 127 but nothing triggers the 404. i know the sampler's midi in and the cable are working because i move the cable over to a midi keyboard i have and it triggers just fine (on channel 1). i do have the pk on bus power, and someone told me it won't send midi signals like that, but i don't know because my computer sees the signals it sends just fine. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had it playing my emx on bus power last night.I had to as the mains don't seem to work.I set each pad to port b on the pk and set the ports in a track in ableton which i armed et voila! Very Happy

You need to set the notes on the pk as well and make sure midi notes aren't been filtered on your SP404 Smile
