Did you noticed the model number of the RAM expansion.
EXB-M256
This is the exact same board that goes into the new M3. I wonder does it have the same speed CPU then ?. Also... if it uses this board, will the expansion sample libraries that KORG plan on selling for the M3 also be made for the Pa2X ?
Regards.
Sharp.

Well i am listening carefully to the demos and the truth is the sound definition is very slightly better than the PA1X especially on the drums in the styles but thats no real test depending on how the files were recorded and uploaded. But listening to the demos of the PA1X and the PA2X side by side (the Pa2x demos are slightly louder) and you would have a very hard time telling the difference. Listen to the steel guitar demo from the PA1X and then the one from the PA2X and tell me if sonically you can hear any measurable difference in tone or definition or clarity. Listen to the slap drums demo too. any difference in tone quality ? Is it just my ears or do they sound exactly the same in tone ?
Korg did just too good a job on the Original PA1X. I keep on being reminded that the pa800 and the pa2X and the M3 have a newer sound engine but can anyone honestly tell the difference from these demos ? They are great demos by the way ! Kind of remind me of the keyboard i already own !!!

That confirms it for me !!!!Korgpa Website wrote:If you need a compact and light 61 key version of the Pa2X Pro with built in amplifier and speakers, check out the amazing Pa800. Same incredible sound quality with almost all the most important features as the Pa2X Pro.
This will make it recyclable - should burn nicely...All good but the wooden side panels..?? wat are they about..
