My triton is 4 1/2 years old and this is the THIRD time this has happened: SOME sounds in COMBO start sounding as if you got two keys stuck together (a minor third sound) even when you have only one key depressed. Restarting it clears it up for awhile, then this same problem spreads to many of the combo and program keyboard sounds, then eventually to other banks over a period of time. The keypad stops responding, and going into EDIT mode, (as if trying to use the transpose feature), the LED screen numbers jump like a Las Vegas slot machine, never stopping and rendering any features that require a setting change inoperateable.
Each time I take it to SweetWaters (Fort Wayne, IN...authorize KORG dealer and repair shop) and they have to reload factory settings ($120 a pop). I NEVER change the factory settings..I only use the Korg as a midi instrument, pulling sounds into my Roland RD700 or Yamaha MOTIF for multiple layering of sounds.

Anyone have this same problem? Please email me at khayes828@indy.rr.com OR khayes828@sbcglobal.net
