|
|
Howzit
So I have taken a leap to use the X50 with the mpc 1000 as my sequencer. I have hooked it all up..midi in and out. I get the MPC to sync with the X50 and even record the sequence but I can not for the life of me hear what i have recorded.
Any help will me much appreciated.

first of all, I suggest using the MPC as your clock, since they have respected MIDI clocks.
second, I hate to ask it, are you trying to play the sound out of the MPC or the X-50? Because MIDI only transmits numbers, not sounds. Plug patch cables into your x-50
If you are doing that, then maybe on your MPC you don't have the track you are sequencing with set to output MIDI. |
