Right now Tracktion is giving me a headache, probably because the song I'm remixing I already did in audacity and there are certain problems such as the chorus needs a different effect from the verse for the vocals and I'm trying to implement those features that apply effects to certain regions and it's a pain, but I haven't read the whole manual, only about half, so I probalby need to not rely on just clicking around and read better so I don't get frustrated. I do however find much of this quite intuitive. Yet to properly produce a polished piece (how's that for poetry) it is always a complex process however you do it. I think that is a good portion of the satisfaction we feel when we have a finished piece that sounds good to others ears, as it's always been such a winding road to the end product. _________________ George Nelson is 2loose

Don't get frustrated George. You know that is just new software talking to you. I am concerned about side-chaining and other things I take for granted with Tracktion. Either way it is a big step up from Audacity from all I have read.
P.S. This is a posted reply to the poetic process of a properly produced and polished piece. Poignant? Pathetic? _________________ Jon Solo
