I just bought a microKORG and a Alesis SR-18 to toy around with and I am running into an issue with keeping these two devices in sync. With the microKORG running off the SR-18's midi clock, the mK will eventually become out of sync with the SR-18 if my playing is off or if I switch between programs on the mK. It seems that the mK is still keeping the same tempo w/ the SR-18 but is being offset by my timing when playing. Basically I just want to load a arpeggiator program on the mK to sync with the SR-18 and never lose sync even if my timing is not perfect.
please advise. |

On the MS2000 that I have (big brother of the microKorg) there is an option to turn on/off Key Sync for the arp. Try turning that off and see if that works any better.
