Greetings! I am newbie so please be kind to me. I would like to upgrade my OS software as stated above. The instructions said to do this with three floppy discs, but I use ZIP drive (100 MB) for data instead. Is it possible to put the software download onto a zip disc and install it that way?

Thank you!

Eichan

Nope, you can only install the OS using floppies.

Regards.
Sharp.

I have tried twice to install the new OS 2.53....I am on 2.01 now.
I keep getting the error message : "can't locate file" when I insert the floppy for Disk 1.

What am I doing wrong? I tried 2HD and still doesn't work.

Do I need to format the disk in the Triton before saving the OS files on the floppies?

HELP!

How are you actually doing the installation? Need more info!
-Make sure you copy the contents of each folder ( not the folders itself )
on 3 disks.
