microkontrol jumping

Finally i found the solution. The problem is definitely encoders hw construction caused. The best way how to fix this still stays to replace with new one but my KONTROL49 in out of waranty so i decide to fix it myself.
You should be patient as you have to remove sliders and encoders holds first and then remove cca 60 screws until you get main board. Then you should have such experience with soldering as each encoder is soldered to mainboard with two pins that holds cover for open it.
When open it i saw the problem. The vaseline from the top od encoder pass through into encoders pot with contacts so only thing you have to do is to clean contacts with strong alcohol. After clean it and put everything back encoder starts working normally as new.
If anybody interested, just contact me. I could provide more detailed steps incl. pics or paste it directly here.
Cheers

sliders jump too
i'm having the same issues only with the sliders ; slider 1 in conjunction with slider 2
however, i'm using it with a VJ application (resolume)...yet when i used it with the nanoSERIES, sliders/knobs did fine - yet recently i broke 5 piano keys on the nanoKEY, so i resorted to re-buying korg and going for the older microKONTROL.
just got it this week and what is strange is that slider 2 starts to mimic slider 1...slider 1 is set for scratch control and slider 2 as on opacity control...yet, as many have mentioned, after moving the slider, it seems to continue moving on it's own...
anyway, i tried changing many things including channels and re-writing data, etc., you name it, with no success. and yes, updated firmware and current driver, etc.
anyway, will work with it as is because i like *real* piano keys whereas the nanoKEY, well, i tore that baby up and i'm not even a musician (well, played a littel piano as a kid)!
