WTS: RADIAS (w/ KB and ATA case)

Post by ngr33n »

It's time for an upgrade! Anyone want my RADIAS?

I bought in on eBay in December sans mini din cable, so that was replaced in March. The whole thing is in great condition, with light signs of use from being lugged back and forth from my church. PM or email me for pics.

I don't have any of the manuals, CDs, box, etc. but I did get an ATA case for it, which is hunter green (for what it's worth) and I'll ship it in that.

In summary:
RADIAS and KB
Power chord
Case

$950 obo

D@mmit! Wouldn't you know it...the very day I start trying to sell this thing, the keyboard stops working. ](*,) Three or four keys will trigger, but not release. Eff my life.

Well, I guess make an offer.

In the last 2 weeks on eBay, the Radias rack has been selling for $599-800, with most selling for under $700.

You can ask any price you wish, of course, but there's not much reason for buyers to show much interest at prices above the level that they can find on ebay or craigslist. I only mention this if you need to sell it quickly. If you wait long enough, you might get someone desperate enough to pay more. More than likely they'll find one at a lower price, though.

Yeah, I was kind of figuring that. Thanks for the tip. 8)

At this point, with the keyboard being on the fritz, I'm not sure what to do about it...it's probably a very easy fix but I just don't have the stones or the know-how to open the thing up. I never abused it...

Anyway, that unrealistic 950 asking price is definitely out the window now. I'm just going to say "hey, it's available" and anyone who is interested please make a reasonable offer. If I get time here in the next couple weeks I'll try and put it on eBay.

You should have no problem selling your Radias within the market price range, as it's a very nice synth.

Exactly. If anyone is interested, just PM or email me an offer, and forget about that $950 bit.

I forgot to do my homework before posting.

I found out why the Radias Rack is selling for under $700. Korg has dropped the street price of it to $699, new. That will certainly set a max market price for used gear. The good news is that's an amazing price for such a powerful synth.
