I have bought a Sitecom 4 port (CN-060) and it works fine with the legacy controller. |

Hi Guys
Can I ask a silly question hehehe. Can the MS20 control the iMS20?

If you mean a real MS20 then I am afraid the answer is no. The MS20 doesn't have MIDI and I don't think the iPad can take CV/gate signals.
Maybe there are retrofitted MIDI MS20's that can be connected, but on the other hand, why bother controlling iMS20 when you have a real MS20.
With the MS20 Legacy controller vontrolling the iMS20 works perfect by the way.
Regards

Hi Tom, Thanks for replying so quickly!
I should've elaborated Tom, it's the MS20 Legacy controller that I have, I could only wish to have a real MS20. So the MS20 LC will be able to control the iMS20? _________________ Apple iMac G5 1.9Ghz 1.5Gb RAM 10.4.10, MBox 2 + MBox Mini 2, ,Shure SM58,

Absolutely.
All the knobs, keys and patchpoints work on the iMS20 the same way as on the MS20 legacy software.
It's a great way to control your iMS20 and edit sounds.
Although it lacks the polyphony of the MS20 Legacy, the MS20 controller feels even more a real instrument in combination with the iPad. I often dn't even look at the screen.
Korg did a good job with updating quickly after iOS 4.2 was released. |

Thanks! I couldn't, however, track down a place selling that in North America.
At Best Buy (here in Toronto) I bought a Dynex 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub (DX-B4PORT) and it did the trick.
Using the iPad sequencer and Kaoss Pads combined with the MS-20 Legacy controller is a real joy! _________________ dreamSTATE - - - Soundscape for Richard Wright - with some live Kaossilator contributions |

Yes it is.
I ordered a Doepfer Dark Time sequencer and I do hope it can control iPad apps. SHould be a very nice combination with iMS20. |
