Kronos voltage difference

I tried looking in the product page, under specifications but couldn't find the answer.

If i get a kronos from the US (working on 110v) - could i use it with european voltage (240v)?
Is it addaptable, like on the moog or dsi products? Is there a switch \ toggle between different voltages like in the nord stage?

How does it work?

It's very likely going to have a Universal PSU installed like every other KORG for the last 10+ years that does not use Wall Warts.

This is correct, the power supply switches internally.

You mean we just have to change the power cable and that we dont need a voltage transformer, right?

I've visited a music store close to my home town yesterday where a Kronos 61 was being kindly demoed by Raffaele Mirabella for the Korg Day italian tour. Its serial number was ending in "002" and rated 220/240V.

It might be just because these are preproduction units, but I'm starting to wonder if the final units will really have a universal power supply.

Label may have to do with laws and depends on the country where the keyboard is sent initially but as Rich clarified the power supply switches automatically and it's a universal power supply. You don't need to worry about that when traveling with your keyboard.

I am thinking about importing a Kronos from the US, And I am a bit concerned about the voltage system. I have read messages on this topic here in the forum, and I see that it's been said that the Kronos comes with a Universal PSU. Thus, it should function on both 110 V as well as 220-240V.
However, I asked Paul Ashe at Sam Ash Music about this, and he replied that the Kronos works on 110V only, and that I would need a transformer.
Does anyone know if I can buy and import a Kronos from the US and use it safely on a 220-240V system?

My Roland Fantom X7 also has a label saying 230V (only) near the IEC plug but it is most definitely auto-switching. Same goes for much of my other Roland equipment.

No trying to scare anyone but my Korg-CX3 from 2000 (actually I have version 2.0 so it might have been produced a little later) does not have an auto-switching power supply. I imported mine from the US and built a 2:1 transformer into it. I put a new label on top of the old one saying it takes 230V.

Nevertheless, I would be extremely surprised if the Kronos does not have an auto-switching power supply. It would make no sense whatsoever.

Demo units didn't and I suppose that final units do not as well, according to Sam Ash's rep.

How do you know? Just from the label? That says nothing really, as I illustrated with my Roland Fantom X example.

just plug it in...it will detect which voltage and be fine. Fantoms are the same, motif xs is the same but Yamaha changed the XF so it doesnt auto switch for some stupid reason.
