...as I have never played any type of instrument before
I picked up my Kronos-88 last friday after a 2,5 month wait.
It has the Japan RH3 keybed and was not on 1.5.0 straight out of the factory. So one of the 1st things I did was update it with the help of one of the posts on this forum. This went smooth.
I have read all the horror story's about the keybed, so far mine seems to be just fine but then again I´m no expert.
This instrument will keep me busy for a long time, just playing with all the synth features and of course with actually learning to play a piano.
So I just want to thank you all on this forum with providing all the info, it is much appreciated!
Cheers

I agree to this totally.
Have been playing plastic synth-action keys for 25 years. And as a pianist, playing the RH-3/88 is like coming home...
Enjoy your fine beast! _________________ Kronos88, Kronos 2/61, Dave Smith Pro-2, Minimoog Voyager, MacBook Pro, LogicProX - and a whole bunch of older stuff... |

Congratulations ... the update process was the easiest I ever have done. _________________
